• How do I read the serial number located on CashCode products?

  The serial number has a coded date system embedded, this date will provide the year and week the unit was manufactured. Reading this date code is easy.

  Ex 00K21987632470 To identify the week the unit was manufactured, start with the letter "K", which represents the year 2000. The one-digit number (ie: 2) after the K indicates the year the unit was manufactured (ie: 2000 + 2 = 2002). In this example, the unit was manufactured in 2002. The two digits following the year represent the week in which the unit was manufactured. In this example, the unit was manufactured on the 19th week of 2002. The rest of the numbers are for internal use.

  Note: 2010 will be designated as 00KA12 – where A designates 2010 and 12, week 12 of 2010

• How easy is it to update the software in CashCode bill products?

  It is very easy! With CashCode bill products, updates may be completed quickly and easily with flash memory, using Smart Stick downloads. Also, software may be downloaded online, or remotely with CCNet remote download capability. A CashCode Distributor or authorized Service Center can assist with software upgrades.

• Is it possible to reprogram CashCode bill validators for currencies other than originally set at manufacturing?

  Due to the complexity of currency security features and the advanced sensor sets used by CashCode products, in most instances the units are design for specific currencies and cannot be reconfigured. Each unit is configured differently for each country, and therefore the units are fundamentally different as well.

• What are the warranty terms on CashCode branded products?

  CashCode products come with an all-encompassing two year warranty period; this covers all manufacturers’ defects.   The CashCode brand offers many options for cassettes capacity:
  BackLoad and BackLoad SM lines: 400, 600, 1000 and *1500 capacity note cassettes.
  *The 1500 note cassette is an innovative industry first, which features a special security tab.
  FrontLoad and Multi-width FrontLoad lines: 600 and 1000, 2500(FLS only) capacity note cassettes. Recently introduced is the stackerbag, this unit uses a secure sealed bag to protect the contents, storing up to 4,000 notes.
